Director Of Publications

Responsibilities include production and oversight for following areas:

  • Publications
    • 4700 Magazine: Produced bi-annually; over 4,000 copies mailed to internal and external audiences
    • Summer Camp Brochure: Produced annually; mailed to internal and external audiences
    • The Year in Reflection: Produced annually; mailed to internal audience; also used for admissions
    • FRAmework weekly newsletter: Produced weekly; electronically sent to internal audience; available on FRA website
    • Academic Program Guides (Lower, Middle, Upper Schools): Produced annually
  • FRA Website
    • Editing and content updates
  • Photography
    • Coordination for publications and website
    • Responsible for taking pictures at various school events on and off the campus

Responsibilities may include support and production in the following areas:
Invitations, letters, special events

  • commencement program
  • baccalaureate program
  • awards programs
  • open house materials
  • admissions materials
  • athletic publications
  • advertising campaigns
  • school calendar

Required:

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher

Director of Alumni and Community Relations

Franklin Road Academy is looking for an experienced and energetic individual to lead our Alumni Board while working with FRA’s school community. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills as well as a proven ability to work with volunteers in a team environment.

The Director of Alumni and Community Relations will work with the Alumni Board on all projects such as

  • reunions,
  • homecoming activities,
  • distinguished alumni dinner,
  • alumni Easter egg hunt,
  • and an annual alumni golf tournament.

He/she will be responsible for keeping track of all alumni in a Raiser’s Edge database. This person will also be in charge of our community relations which involves working with volunteers and managing FRA’s Parent Association, Helping Hands, Board of Visitors, All Fathers’ Breakfast, and the Turner Fellowship Program.

This position requires self-motivation, creativity, attention to detail, organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of the goals of the alumni and community programs. Time management is critical, as is an understanding of volunteer management. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Director of Alumni and Community Relations is responsible for all aspects of a comprehensive program designed to strengthen the commitment of alumni to the future of Franklin Road Academy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel is required. Experience with PowerPoint, database entry, and Raiser’s Edge is preferred.
