Personal Counseling

Personal counselors are available in each of the three schools of Franklin Road Academy. Each counselor strives to optimize the development of students and to assist them in successfully meeting challenges in their lives. Counselors work to educate and support students and parents by teaching, bringing in speakers, and meeting with students individually and in groups.

Topics covered in the classroom include:

Critical Thinking Honesty
Friendship Bullying
Conflict Resolution Nutrition
Peer Pressure Tobacco
Alcohol and Drugs Abstinence
Feelings Manners
Kindness Giving

We encourage parents and students to contact us to discuss concerns. We are happy to listen, to suggest an outside resource or to meet with parents and/or students.
