Welcome!

Welcome to the Lower School at Franklin Road Academy. As the new Dean of the Lower School, I look forward to the many opportunities that await us in the coming school year. The convergence of a strong 41-year academic foundation with the integration of emerging 21st century technologies makes the Lower School poised for a breakthrough in educating our students to their maximum potential.

Students in the Lower School are engaged and challenged academically in a setting that evolves to meet their needs and provide support through tried-and-true best practices as well as utilization of emerging methodologies. Students are uplifted and cared-for spiritually in an atmosphere that is safe and caring. And they are provided with balanced opportunities in the arts, academics and other activities.

The staff of the Lower School is a dedicated group of professional educators that have the best interest of each student at the heart of everything we do. Our staff is highly trained in various teaching methodologies and looks for ways to engage their students in each and every lesson. The teachers and other staff members of the Lower School are continuously honing their craft to be the very best at what they do.

We are also blessed to have the support of the parents and other community members of the FRA family. Our parents provide their "time, talents and treasure" in a variety of ways throughout the school, for which we are extremely grateful. Parent involvement is extremely important to a child's education and we are fortunate to have parents actively involved in the educational process.
