The instructions below are very general. The set up for your home network may vary according to its setup. These instructions are for home computers, on home networks. Do not change any network settings on the Tablet as your student will no longer be able to log into the computer.
1. The desktop that has the printer attached will need to be made part of the workgroup academy. You will have to reboot when this is finished.
2. Set up a user account on that desktop that matches the username and password of the tablet. This makes sure when you connect using the tablet that you have a user account on the desktop.
3. Share the printer on the desktop to be available. Right click on the printer and share. Click on the security tab to set the security so that people can connect.
4. On the Tablet, Network Neighborhood and browse the network and find academy, then the desktop computer name, then the printer. Double click on the printer then it will be installed on the Tablet and available for sharing.
5. The desktop needs to be on to print, etc.

FRA is not responsibile for any technicaly issues that this may cause your home computer. Working with network settings can be complicated and can lock you out of your computer if their not followed.
If all else fails, the easiest thing is to just connect your student's tablet PC directly to the printer with a USB cable and not have to change any settings on anything.
REMEMBER - DO NOT CHANGE ANY NETWORK SETTINGS ON THE TABLET PC AS IT WILL LOCK YOU OUT OF THE FRA TABLET AND THE ONLY WAY TO REVERSE IT IS TO BRING IT TO THE HELP DESK.
