2005 Girls Cross Country

MISSION: ACCOMPLISHED

The Lady Panthers Cross Country Team had quite a successful season. They finished a close fourth behind Martin Luther King High School. This is the highest our girls have ever gotten and they are only one place away from a coveted third place finish and a ticket to the big dance!

Coach Cole, “We will contintue to build for the future, and I am confident that we can break into the top three at Region, and then compete at State! ”

Lauren Huddleston (2005 PR 21:41) was first across the finish line for the FRA women at the Region 5 Championship Meet, finishing 17th overall in a time of 21:47. Rounding out the top seven were Liz Boyd (2005 PR 22:18), Sammie Martin (2005 PR 20:57), Katie Giglio (2005 PR 22:38), Jess Walker (2005 PR 23:12), Stella Kamm (2005 PR 24:03), and Caitlin Ford (2005 PR 26:15). Other members of the team were Sarah DeMarco (who, unfortunately, was injured most of the season), Sarah Moore (2005 PR 24:34), Addison Nichols (2005 PR 27:57), and Emily West (2005 PR 28:18).
