Volunteer Opportunities For 2009-20010

Dear FRA Parents:

We are ready for a fabulous year. We look forward to seeing you and your children as the 2009-2010 year begins.

Franklin Road Academy is a school for families. We invite every parent to “share their time and talents” by volunteering. We need your help! Our school enjoys a rich tradition of tremendous parental support and involvement. You have many opportunities to become involved at FRA.

	During the school year, there are many times when volunteers are needed for small, special projects. Please check here if we may call you for help.
ANNUAL FUND DRIVE	The Annual Fund Drive is FRA’s main fundraising priority and bridges the gap between tuition and the actual operating costs of the school. Phone-a-thon volunteers are also needed to support the Annual Fund Drive. Gifts can be made online: Give Online. I would like to help with the phonathon this year (2009-2010) for Grade PreK4 PreK5 K 123456789101112 .
STARS & GUITARS	This special event fundraiser promises to be a huge success. Formerly PIZZAZZ, this event is a fun evening that raises awareness and funds for the school. Please contact me to discuss specific opportunities to volunteer with this event.
PARENTS ASSOCIATION	Every family is a member of the FRA Parents Association which provides leadership and hosts numerous events and activities each year. Please indicate your areas of interest. FRA receives 4% of your purchases. To purchase a Kroger Cares Gift Card, please make your check payable to FRA Groceries. Harris Teeter: Link your Together in Education VIC Card to FRA's account by mentioning our school code - 4188 - to your cashier. FRA receives 1% of all Harris Teeter brand products that you purchase. Cards must be reactivated each year. PUBLIX: Publix Partners Cards are pre-coded with FRA's account number. FRA receives 1% of your purchases. Please stop by the Advancment Office to pick up a Kroger Cares or Publix Partners card.
