To My Adam

Dear Adam this is your Eve
We have never met before
I pray for you when I can
If you exist at all

I may not have an Adam
I may die all alone
Or he may be out their waiting somewhere
For me, but it is unknown

What I do know is if you exist
Adam, I find solace in your kiss
We'll walk wrist to wrist through life
And in your arms you will hold me tight
