Finding Truth in Ugnada

Everyone was waiting for the two main bands Cobra Starship and Boys like Girls so, when Verse Emerge stepped on stage, no one was very excited.  The lead singer’s vocals were not very good, and they sounded a lot like they were trying to imitate a band called Paramore.  Their sound was also very unoriginal.
After Versa Emerge played, A Rocket to the Moon came out. Everyone screamed and shouted. Clearly A Rocket to the Moon was better known than Versa Emerge. The minute the band started playing, everyone jumped up and down and sang along to the song. The melodious sound of Nick, the main singer, was enough to make people jump and shout.

When A Rocket to the Moon was finished playing, The Maine played their set.  They were very interactive with the crowd, and they had everyone in the audience jumping.  The lead singer, John, is so talented, and their songs are very powerful.  They have a very nice sound as a band and preformed well live.

Another crowd favorite was Cobra Starship. The tension in air as Cobra Starship was about to come on was clear. Everyone was waiting for them to come out. As the lights turned off, everyone began to clap and scream. Then, a crazy display of lights flashed all around the room, and it was so bright it was almost blinding. The band stepped out like rock stars and played like superstars. There was not one thing wrong with the sound of the music. The main singer, Gabe, danced around the stage like a maniac constantly entertaining the crowd with his wild dances and high jumps.

Last but definitely not least, Boys Like Girls took the stage.  The screaming fans were so loud you could hardly hear yourself think.  Their performance was impeccable, and they are even better live than they are on their CD.  They were very energetic and entertaining.  I really enjoyed watching their performance.   Over all, Rocketown on November third was not a disappointment.
