From Athens to Rome in 10 Days

Our Activities

CAESAR'S GLADIATORS
Pick up your Gladio and learn the basic moves of hand-to-hand combat at gladiator school.

This experience begins with a presentation with the Gladiators.

Continue with a visit to the museum followed by an introduction about the history of Gladiators.

Train like a Gladiator to become one.

Choose a name, get fit to fight in the arena and learn how to use the Gladio. Finally, use your newly acquired skills in a competition where the best will win a prize.

MOUSAKA AND SOUSTA
Athens - With the help of a local expert, you will learn the basic Greek dance steps.

Following the lesson you will be transferred to a taverna, which is a family-style (sometimes open-air) restaurant serving typical Greek food.

While dining, guests will enjoy listening to Greek Bouzouki music and watching traditional folk dances.

(No costumes or plate throwing unfortunately)

"ANCIENT ROME LIVE"
In the forum, an activity brings the past to life! This activity uses the Roman Forum to look at life in ancient times. By providing groups with background information on a variety of 'spots' in the Forum, it aims to bring to life the ruins, which at times are difficult to visualize as they were two millennia ago.

  DEMOCRACY IN ACTION
Exercise your right to vote! Step into the shoes of ancient Athenians to
debate and vote on the issues of the day. Will you wage war on Corinth?
Negotiate with Sparta? This lively debate reveals how the government worked
and what it had in common with modern day American democracy.
